*Environmental Project Supervisor*
Our client is searching for an experienced *Environmental Project Supervisor* to lead and oversee environmental remediation and abatement projects at their *Thousand Oaks, CA* location. The ideal candidate will manage daily field operations, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, coordinate with internal teams, and maintain high standards of safety and quality throughout all project phases.
*Key Responsibilities*
* Assign and schedule daily tasks for field personnel.
* Oversee and ensure field staff maintain proper certifications and adhere to regulatory requirements.
* Interview, hire, and onboard supervisors and field workers.
* Stay updated on and enforce OSHA regulations and protocols for asbestos, lead, mold, and other hazardous materials.
* Manage projects to meet deadlines, stay within budget, and deliver quality results.
* Supervise assistant supervisors, field laborers, and other on-site staff.
* Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.
* Respond to and comply with regulatory agency requirements and policies.
* Maintain and monitor the condition and safety of the company vehicle fleet.
* Act as a liaison between field crews, project managers, and clients, providing clear communication and updates.
* Perform final inspections and clearances to ensure project completion and compliance.
*Qualifications*
* *2 years* of experience in asbestos abatement, mold remediation, demolition, or related fields.
* *2-5 years* of experience in a supervisory or leadership role.
* Strong knowledge of environmental protocols and OSHA regulations.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new software and systems.
* Excellent attention to detail, communication, and organizational skills.
* Analytical and problem-solving abilities in a fast-paced environment.
* Valid and clean driver's license.
* Willingness to travel locally within the assigned region and attend *2-3 weeks of paid training* at the corporate office in *Azusa, CA*.
*Preferred Skills*
* Familiarity with environmental remediation and hazardous materials protocols.
* Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
* Strong interpersonal skills to foster teamwork and collaboration.
