Job Title: HSE Manager

Location: Midland, TX

Salary: $115,000 - $145,000 base salary (plus bonus)

Core Function

The Safety Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the workplace remains safe and compliant with all applicable safety and environmental regulations. This role involves implementing, monitoring, and improving safety policies, practices, and equipment while working closely with supervisors, foremen, and management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Research, propose, and implement safe work policies and procedures to ensure compliance with OSHA and other regulatory bodies.
  • Regularly review and update safety policies in the Employee Handbook and HSE Manual to meet current regulations.
  • Oversee new employee orientation to ensure safety protocols are understood and followed.
  • Conduct regular safety meetings, workplace audits, and equipment inspections, including fire extinguishers, first aid kits, fall protection gear, and machinery.
  • Investigate significant incidents and injuries to identify root causes and develop preventive measures.
  • Maintain and file reports for OSHA, TCEQ, and other safety authorities.


Requirements
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Safety Management, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge of OSHA standards and safety regulations.
  • Experience in a safety-related role within industrial, manufacturing, or construction environments.
  • Ability to inspect equipment, identify hazards, and implement corrective measures.
