Title: Safety Coordinator (Food or beverage manufacturing experience required)

Location: Bartlett, IL

Job Summary:
  • We're seeking a proactive Safety Coordinator to ensure a safe and compliant work environment at our food manufacturing facility. You'll play a key role in developing and implementing safety programs, conducting safety audits, and investigating incidents.


Job Duties:
  • Develop and implement safety programs (e.g., lockout/tagout, machine guarding, ladder safety).
  • Conduct safety inspections and audits.
  • Investigate accidents and near misses.
  • Train employees on safety policies and procedures.
  • Maintain safety records and prepare reports.
  • Promote a strong safety culture.


Qualifications:
  • 4-5+ years of safety experience in a food manufacturing environment (cooler environment preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of FDA regulations and OSHA standards.
  • Experience with lockout/tagout, machine guarding, and other critical safety areas.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
