Compensation:
$60,000-$80,000 (DEO)

What You'll Be Doing:

• Enforcing watershed protection policies and reviewing construction site erosion control plans
• Investigating environmental problems and maintaining watershed covenants
• Collaborating with departments to ensure environmental compliance
• Educating employees on Watershed Protection Policy (WPP) and updating it with experts
• Coordinating with zoning authorities and monitoring landfills for compliance
• Conducting temperature checks via SCADA technology and performing water quality sampling
• Performing SAP tasks related to purchasing goods and services

What You'll Need to be Considered:

• Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Management, Geology, Hydrology, Chemistry, or Civil/Environmental Engineering, or equivalent experience
• Five years of field and office experience working with stormwater and/or watershed protection
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Valid driver's license and QCI certification or obtained within 12 months
• ADEM Watershed certificate or obtained within 12 months
