Highlights of Your Role:
- Develop and lead specific Safety & Health programs, ensuring alignment with enterprise policies and procedures.
- Create and execute a strategic annual goal-setting plan aimed at eliminating injuries and accidents by identifying risks proactively.
- Support sustainability goals and initiatives, promoting environmental awareness at the local level.
You're a Good Fit If You Have:
- A deep understanding of safety regulations from entities like OSHA, NIOSH, NRC, and the National Safety Council.
- Proven experience with EPA, State, Local, OSHA, and DOT frameworks and regulations.
- The ability to build strong relationships with employees, leadership, and regulatory agencies.
Also Want to Ensure You Bring:
- A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred, though experience may substitute for formal education.
- Over 5 years of increasing responsibility in safety-related roles; environmental experience is a plus.
- Previous Safety and Health leadership in a manufacturing environment.
- Desirable experience with OSHA's Voluntary Protection Program.
- A commitment to obtaining additional educational and certification credentials, including:
- BCSP ASP and/or CSP
- NSC Advanced Safety Certificate
- OSHA 30 Hour
- Occupational Hygiene and Safety Technician Certification (OHST)
- Safety and Health trainer designations
- Any related college degree
