Location:Paint Lick, Kentucky or Nashville, Tennessee
Amount of Travel:Estimated between 50% - 75% during peak seasons

JOB HIGHLIGHTS BELOW:
Primary Responsibilities
- Manage projects, including budgeting, invoicing, and scheduling
- Oversee and conduct wetland and waterway delineations
- Prepare and coordinate Section 404/401 permit applications
- Prepare clear and concise reports, procedures, correspondence, and other written material
- Coordinate and submit proposals
- Network within industry organizations to establish and expand the regional client base in the areas of environmental permitting, planning, and broad-based natural resources services
- Identify new business opportunities and grow client relationships and further expand business opportunities throughout the southeast
Key Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in environmental science, biology, ecology, botany, or related field
- At least 8 years of progressive experience in aquatic and wetland sciences
- At least 5 years of progressive project management experience
- Experience applying environmental compliance and permitting regulations
- Experience managing wetland and waterway delineations
- Experience preparing technical reports
Preferred Skills and Certifications
- Masters degree in in environmental science, biology, ecology, botany, or related field
- Candidates who hold or are eligible for the Professional Wetland Scientist (PWS) certification valuable plus.
- Candidates who hold or are eligible for the Qualified Hydrologic Professional (QHP) for Tennessee certification valuable plus.
