Salary: $90,000-125,000/year
Employment Type: Direct Hire

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing the execution of a broad array of projects for client or at client site/facilities. Project managers are the main point of contact to escalate issues and reports daily activity and to ensure a safe, compliant, and profitable project. You will need to manage resources to accomplish identified priorities personally or through on-site technicians/leads/foreman.

Summary:
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing the execution of a broad array of projects for client or at client site/facilities. Project managers are the main point of contact to escalate issues and reports daily activity and to ensure a safe, compliant, and profitable project. You will need to manage resources to accomplish identified priorities personally or through on-site technicians/leads/foreman.
Job duties include:
- Performing onsite customer service work including, but not limited to: regulatory inspections, participation in plant committees, waste characterization, shipping, profiling and document preparation for waste streams.
- Working with customers to proactively establish reuse, reduction, recycling and alternate treatment options and develop and implement subsequent programs.
- Providing data and reporting to customers in a manner consistent with contract or purchase order specifications.
- Offering general guidance for Resource Conservation Recovery Act (RCRA), Department of Transportation (DOT), Toxic Substance Control Act (TSCA) and other applicable local, state, and federal regulatory bodies.
- Reviewing field tasks and develops the safety procedures associated with the scope of work and regulatory standards
- Monitoring sub-contractor services for completeness or deficiencies.
- Assisting in the implementation of technical systems, software, or solutions.
- Providing training and end-user support.
- Working closely with sales team to propose customer solutions compliant with appropriate local, state and federal regulations.
- Working with sales team to identify new opportunities and retain existing business.
Qualifications:
- 5-10 years of experience within the environmental services industry
- Strong knowledge of complex regulations specific to the environmental waste industry, management principles and best practices including analysis and evaluation and research methods and strategies.
- Strong knowledge of current industrial safety practices and industrial hygiene and of hazardous waste treatment, storage, and disposal operations.
- Ability to work under pressure, exercise independent judgment and select effective course of action while controlling resources and expenditures.
- Ability to travel to client sites frequently.
