Masis Professional Group is hiring for direct placement opportunities! We are assisting our client in searching for a EHS Coordinator.

The EHS Coordinator is to work closely with different departments and senior leadership team members to create, strategize, and execute the Behavior Based Safety Program.

Job Responsibilities:

• Work with HR in overseeing workers compensation cases to decrease severity and repeat situations. Coordinate with the team to support and adjust trainings.
• EHS Coordinator is required to work remotely with other teams. They are to promote daily safety/healthy work environments on and off the plant floor.
• Effectively provide guidance, leadership in creating a safe work environment.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations.
• Provide continual support and betterment of safety program.
• Coordinate and train Behavior Based Safety Program.
• Identify and prevent losses, and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and maintain Job Hazard Risk Assessment.
• Perform safety audits daily.
• Maintain proper documentation up to date.
• Manage injuries, accidents, cases, and perform corrective actions.
• Lead Safety Committee and Emergency Response Team.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree in Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering.
• 5+ Years of experience of working in industrial/manufacturing.
• Experience in knowledge or work of Environmental Health and Safety systems, metrics, KPI's, and tools.
• Strong knowledge of Behavior Based Safety Programs.
• Bilingual a plus.
• Knowledge of OSHA/EPA.

Job Type: Full-time (Direct Hire)

Payrate: $30.00 - $32.00 per hour
