About the Role: The EHS Manager provides leadership to the facility and fosters a culture of safety and excellence. They manage the development, management, and implementation of the facility EHS programs in compliance with regulatory agencies. Responsible for evaluating, updating, implementing and enforcing the site EHS programs and policies as well as adherence to state and federal health/safety regulations. Directs safety/environmental compliance with Regulatory agencies. Drives ongoing compliance efforts, improvement plans, and continuous improvement strategies. Plays a key role in leading safety performance across the plant, develop, and drive injury reduction initiatives. Performs safety surveys and inspections. Manages and develops Health and Safety team.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership to the facility
  • Foster a culture of safety and excellence
  • Manage the development, management, and implementation of the facility EHS programs
  • Evaluate, update, implement, and enforce site EHS programs and policies
  • Adhere to state and federal health/safety regulations
  • Direct safety/environmental compliance with Regulatory agencies
  • Drive ongoing compliance efforts, improvement plans, and continuous improvement strategies
  • Lead safety performance across the plant
  • Develop and drive injury reduction initiatives
  • Perform safety surveys and inspections
  • Manage and develop Health and Safety team


Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree from four-year college in Occupational Safety and Health, Industrial Hygiene / Environmental Safety, or related field.

Required Skills:

  • 5 years of health and safety experience in fast paced manufacturing preferably Food Manufacturing
  • OSHA 30
  • HSE certification preferred (CSP, CSHM, MESH, etc.)
  • Bilingual English/Spanish (preferred)
