Job Description:
Insight Global is seeking Environmental Auditor/Project Coordinator to assist our active United States Air Force (USAF) client with managing compliance and Audit Remediation (FIAR) activities related to Defense Environmental Restoration Program (DERP) and Installation Restoration Program (IRP) accounts. In this role, you will be crucial in facilitating effective and appropriate communication among all stakeholders including Federal regulators.

Day-to-day Responsibilities:
Insight Global is seeking Environmental Auditor/Project Coordinator to assist our active United States Air Force (USAF) client with managing compliance and Audit Remediation (FIAR) activities related to Defense Environmental Restoration Program (DERP) and Installation Restoration Program (IRP) accounts. In this role, you will be crucial in facilitating effective and appropriate communication among all stakeholders including Federal regulators.
Must haves:
- Bachelor's degree within Environmental Science, any science discipline or within business administration, management, accounting, etc.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience within project coordination, auditing processes, ensuring compliance within environmental processes and regulations under CERCLA and RCRA phases.
- Familiar with FIAR, FAM, FAR, DERP, and IRP documentation and correspondence.
- Ability to obtain a CAC card to access any military base or Federal premises.
- Ability to comply with the requirement to pass a thorough background and drug test.
Plusses:
- Experience supporting with the DOD or other government agencies.
- Familiarity with environmental remediation technologies and practices/processes.
Day-to-day Responsibilities:
- Facilitate communications essential for supporting financial statement audits.
- Monitor and relay internal communications, ensuring the upkeep and implementation of audit infrastructure.
- Assist with audit walkthroughs by preparing meeting agendas, minutes, and event invitations for various virtual and in-person events throughout the year.
- Offer logistical and facilitation support for weekly and bi-weekly meetings, including drafting agendas, minutes, and invitations.
- Perform additional job-related tasks as needed.
