About the Role:
The EHS Manager will be responsible for the implementation and administration of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) programs within federal, state & OSHA guidelines. Responsibilities also include developing and implementing department policies and procedures, conducting research projects, and coordinating operations with on-site managers.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in the implementation and administration of HSE programs within program & OSHA guidelines.
- Develop and implement department policies and procedures.
- Perform research projects regarding operational or site programs.
- Partner with on-site managers to coordinate operations.
- Oversee and collect information, perform tests and analyses of data.
- Lead new HSE prevention and compliance programs.
- Coordinate activities with regulatory agencies.
- Administer and ensure compliance with all TOSHA/OSHA related recordkeeping.
- Oversee Waste Minimization and company recycling programs.
- Ensure compliance with all federal and state regulatory laws.
- Manage activities included in the Construction / Operation Air permit.
- Develop periodic environmental, health and safety reports.
- Conduct new hire orientation.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in EHS or related field of study or equivalent education and experience. Ideally, 3+ years of progressive HSE experience. Experience working with regulatory agencies required.
Desired Experience:
- Experience in the development and implementation of procedures and training requirements to comply with EPA, TOSHA/OSHA, TDEC, standards.
- Experience in the development, revision and monitoring of air, water, and waste permits.
- Worker's compensation experience strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of DOT regulations would be helpful.
- Experience in a 24/7 manufacturing environment.
- Stay updated on current related regulatory requirements and changes.
