Job Details

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Manager to join our team. In this role, you will ensure compliance with environmental regulations, implement sustainable construction practices, and oversee environmental impact mitigation strategies. Responsibilities include conducting site assessments, developing environmental management plans, liaising with regulatory agencies, and ensuring all project activities align with environmental standards.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in water-focused civil construction, a strong understanding of environmental laws and policies, and the ability to collaborate effectively with project teams to deliver environmentally responsible solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and oversee environmental compliance strategies and management plans.
  • Conduct site assessments and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations.
  • Pull necessary permits
  • Collaborate with project teams to integrate sustainable and environmentally responsible construction practices.
  • Monitor and report on environmental performance and compliance throughout project lifecycles and submit monthly reports.
  • Coordinate with regulatory agencies and respond to environmental audits or inspections.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in environmental management, preferably in water-focused heavy civil construction.
  • Strong knowledge of environmental laws and permitting processes.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
