The Environmental Field Chemistry Internship is designed for students interested in environmental sustainability. The intern will be responsible for handling, segregating, packing, and inspecting chemical waste at various locations. Tasks include lab packs, household hazardous waste collections, and lab moves. The intern will also have the opportunity to shadow other roles within the company and participate in networking events. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in environmental management and contribute to the company's mission of creating a safer, cleaner environment.
  • Work both indoors and outdoors at plants, labs, and customer sites
  • Prepare packing lists, labels, and manifests
  • Inspect drums for compliance with labeling regulations
  • Collect, segregate, and package chemical waste
  • Sample and profile new waste streams
  • Shadow various roles within the organization
  • Attend networking events
  • Complete a final project presentation
  • Requirements: Pursuing a bachelor's or advanced degree in Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Sciences, etc; in junior or senior year; valid driver's license and reliable transportation
