Environmental Specialist (Houston, TX)
Performs field and administrative services as directed by the Project Manager, including, but not limited to Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs), soil investigations, on-site exposure monitoring, on-site project oversight, on-site ACM sample analysis, project data entry and regulatory compliance. Conduct field activities associated with soil/groundwater investigations and remediation projects. Perform chemical analysis to test soil for sulfate, sulfide, chloride, Ph, resistivity and cement content of soil-cement mixtures. Coordinates and maintains a safe work environment and supports corporate and organizational safety goals aligned with AASHTO, OSHA, and MSHA inspections for the office. Review and implement environmental and geotechnical technical standards, guidelines, policies, and formal regulations that meet all appropriate project requirements. Obtain permits and approvals for projects and prepare impact statements and assessments. Requires a Master's degree in Environment Technology and Sustainability.
