This is a temporary position that is responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring the environmental health and safety (EH&S) policies and procedures within the organization and off site service facilities. Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations pertaining to EH&S audits and handles all contact with appropriate agencies.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Conducts comprehensive audits of facilities and processes to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and safety standards.
Thoroughly reviews facility operations and processes to assess compliance with applicable environmental and safety regulations, identifying any potential violations or risks.
Conducts EH&S audits, surveys, and inspections, and collects data required by regulatory agencies.
Ensures the company operational policies meet regulatory and permit requirements.
Ensures appropriate regulatory reports, licenses, permits, and fees are current.
Interface with regulatory audits, documents response and implements corrective actions where environmental health and safety hazards exist.
Ensure the new facilities are designed in compliance with environmental health & safety regulations.
Complies with safety policies, including participation in and completion of all required safety training.
Education

Bachelors degree or equivalent work related experience.
Experience

Three (3) Six (6) + years related work experience, preferably in EH&S audits.
ISO 14001 Certification Experience
Previous experience in conducting audits of facilities, construction projects, and programs.
Working knowledge of general policies and procedures.
Strong Customer Relations skills.
SKILLS & ABILITIES

Working knowledge of MS Office products including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Strong relationship building skills with ability to collaborate and work effectively with internal colleagues and customer.
Demonstrated teamwork and Organizational skills.
Demonstrated excellent written and oral communication skills.
