Responsibilities:
- Assist in conducting screenings and assessments to identify students with speech and language concerns.
- Implement individualized treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to address munication needs.
- Provide direct therapy services to students in both individual and group settings, targeting articulation, language, fluency, and pragmatic skills.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' munication goals and enhance their academic performance.
- Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions, progress reports, and student outes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in munication Sciences and Disorders or related field.
- pletion of a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) program accredited by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- State licensure or certification as an SLPA, or eligibility for licensure.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with students, families, and school staff.
- Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred but not required.
