This person will be responsible for the day-to-day execution, project controls, cost, risk, engineering, and business management of a project. This individual should also have experience managing people and be an effective communicator.

The Project Manager will be responsible for supporting the management of federal construction projects from the office, with occasional travel to project sites (approximately 20% of the time). This role involves ensuring that all project components align with client specifications, federal guidelines, and safety standards. Attention to detail is crucial in handling submittals, schedules, and invoicing processes. You will collaborate with project teams to ensure the successful completion of project deliverables on time and within budget.

- Assist in managing day-to-day project activities and operations from the office, with occasional site visits (20% travel).
- Prepare, review, and track submittals, ensuring compliance with project specifications and federal standards.
- Collaborate with scheduling teams to develop and maintain project timelines, ensuring strict deadline adherence.
- Handle project invoicing by preparing, submitting, and tracking payment applications while adhering to federal billing guidelines.
- Provide drafting support using CAD software to create, review, and modify project designs and technical documents.
- Ensure meticulous attention to detail in all project documentation and reporting, including submittals, schedules, budgets, and compliance logs.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure smooth project execution.
- Ensure all project activities comply with federal regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
- Participate in project meetings and assist with progress reports, change orders, and risk assessments.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in project management or as a project Engineer, preferably on federal projects.
- Knowledge of federal construction regulations, processes, and safety standards.
- Experience with project submittals, scheduling, and invoicing.
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD or similar) for drafting and technical documentation.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera).
- Willingness to travel to project sites (up to 20%).
- Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance, if required.
