ATCC, a globally recognized biologics manufacturer, is hiring 2 Biologists for a new team created to drive harmonization for processes, documentation and training for the bioproduction department and to support the implementation of digital systems, including an ERP.
This hybrid role requires 2 - 3 days onsite per week in office in Manassas, VA. Join a new manufacturing operations team specifically focused on the modernization of ATCC manufacturing systems and tools and help ATCC prepare for the next 100 years of biological manufacturing. Responsibilities
- Manufacturing Operations: Collaborate with manufacturing teams to enhance batch production records for biological materials. Assist with enterprise resource planning software implementation.
- Documentation: Write, edit, and revise production batch records in compliance with good laboratory practices. Identify necessary revisions to SOPs and work instructions. Collect, analyze, and report data with meticulous documentation.
- Continuous Learning and Problem-Solving: Expand knowledge of various cell lines and organisms. Address challenges in alignment with organizational policies. Communicate complex issues effectively in a training environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a scientific field with 2-5 years of relevant experience or equivalent.
- Prior experience with technical writing, documentation and process improvement highly preferred.
- Prior experience in biotechnology industry.
- Hands on laboratory experience and aseptic technique required.
- Attention to detail, specifically with documentation and batch record review.
- Ability to adhere to corporate policies and procedures.
