Job Summary and Purpose:

The Sr. Technical Marketing Manager - Immucox Range is responsible for organizing and directing all technical marketing activities for the Immucox poultry coccidiosis product range, which includes Immucox 3 (for broilers), Immucox 5 (for breeders and layers), and Immucox T (for turkeys). The Sr. Technical Marketing Manager also manages the pricing and promotion of the Immucox range of poultry vaccines. In addition, the Sr. Technical Marketing Manager oversees customer and internal events related to intestinal health education and technical support of the Immucox product range in the USA.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all marketing activities related to the Immucox range-to include pricing management, promotion of the Immucox range, customer priority and placement, and product packaging

• Build the short and long-range sales forecasts for each Immucox product and Immucox range

• Conduct market and competitive intelligence, including analyzing and reporting of CEESA data, USDA market data, and other third-party research related to intestinal health products for poultry-coccidiosis vaccines, antibiotics/ionophores, chemicals, pre/probiotics, etc.

• Prepare technical marketing materials and events-product information sheets, technical bulletins, scientific symposiums-specific to intestinal health

• Support the development of new and innovative services and techniques to optimize intestinal health

• Align objectives and coordinate activities with the Poultry sales, vaccination services/equipment, and marketing teams

• Serve as liaison and intestinal health subject matter expert with the Corporate Poultry Franchise and the Global Immucox Range manager

• In coordination with the Zone Marketing Director, manage Immucox marketing communications-trade print/online advertising, sponsorships, etc.-helping to improve the image/profitability of the Immucox range

• In coordination with the US Poultry marketing director, establish and maintain the target, floor, and average selling prices for the Immucox range

• Gather information and feedback from the sales, veterinary services, and VSE teams and customers using Immucox. Share collected information with the VP of poultry and swine and other local teams.

• Define with the marketing director an annual Immucox Business Plan based on the Global Strategy established by Corporate. Be responsible for implementing the Immucox Business Plan. Gather feedback from the local teams to adjust and adapt the Immucox Business Plan as needed and provide feedback to Corporate.

• Externally - Maintain positive professional relationships with Customers via regular visits, events, and/ or calls. Internally - Maintain strong professional relationships with Sales, Veterinary Services and VSE teams. Collaborate with local teams to ensure successful execution of the Immucox Business Plan.

• Accompany the Sales team on major Key Account negotiations. Be the critical contact liaising between Corporate and local teams. Participate in monthly meetings with Corporate to review the current national situation and update Immucox Business Plans regularly during monthly meetings with the VSE teams and local Sales Managers.

• Define/follow-up on key performance indicators throughout the year so that results can be analyzed and reported to Corporate, and further corrective actions taken, if needed. Report results to Key Customers via the appropriate tools when needed, participating in Annual Business Reviews and Pulse Meetings with Key Customers, VSE, VSM and Sales teams.

• Attend Corporate-led training and congresses, seminars, and events related to intestinal health. Engage in self-training for new technical updates to maintain up-to-date intestinal health expertise and help create and publish technical articles. Hold local responsibility for spreading technical information and ensuring technical training for the entire local organization supporting Immucox activities.

• Deliver issues diagnoses, and expert support, on demand. Conduct Key Customer visits, and provide professional consultation related to Immucox.

• Provide intestinal health technical/scientific advice to Customers (Veterinarians, Veterinary Technicians, Distributors, Hatchery employees, etc.) and Sales employees. Ensure periodic training of the entire local organization on intestinal health, and develop coccidiosis technical training activities, with the aim of sharing required/ requested knowledge and expertise with Key Customers.

• Train local teams in offering practical guidance and advice related to intestinal health.

Technical / Functional Competencies:

Intestinal Diseases Knowledge: Understanding of the types of Eimeria and their impact on the intestinal tracts of chickens. Knowledge of secondary diseases/issues related to intestinal diseases-necrotic enteritis, dermatitis, etc.

Scientific Trials & Knowledge Management: The capability to analyze data and design, plan, and carry out trials using scientific approaches (e.g., forming and testing hypotheses).

Product Knowledge: Demonstrate knowledge of Ceva's Products and Services, as well as those of Ceva's Competitors. Have a knowledge of the strengths and weaknesses of the Products and Services currently available/ upcoming in the Market-the ability to defend Ceva Products and Services' value with Customers and within a Business-to-Business environment.

Communication & Presentation Skills: The ability to communicate efficiently and effectively, adapting to different audiences and situations as needed. Demonstrate empathy, emotional intelligence, and the capacity to capture an audience's attention and use appropriate technologies to improve message delivery.

Marketing & Value Generation: The ability to extract and share actionable information from data storage/analytics tools to grow business and execute meaningful performance analyses. Keep a look out for any new tools that could improve current performance and propose the right tools/concepts to manage performance.

Qualifications:

Education - Bachelor's degree in animal or poultry sciences or a related advanced degree

Work Experience - At least seven years in the poultry or swine industry with specific expertise in live production and/or animal health

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to read, speak, and understand English. Must be able to talk, see and hear. Must be able to ride in a plane or vehicle for up to 7 hours daily.

Working Conditions:

Ability to work remotely or from the Ceva USA office in Lenexa, Kansas (Kansas City metro)

Travel Required:

20% domestic travel required. Some international travel, up to 5% annually.
