Responsibilities
- Manufacturing Operations: Manufacturing or quality control (QC) testing of biological products by following standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and other controlled documents. Maintain laboratory safety, operations, equipment, and supplies.
- Assay Development and Process Optimization: Lead the development and validation of new assays for monitoring product quality. Optimize the manufacturing processes of biological products, ensuring efficiency, scalability, and best growth conditions.
- Documentation and SOPs: Maintain accurate and up-to date documentation, including batch records, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and work instructions. Create SOPs to reflect process improvements and changes.
- Technology Transfer: Manage the technology transfer of new processes, equipment, and methods from R&D or external partners to manufacturing facilities.
- Validation Activities: Plan and execute process validation activities, including process qualification and validation protocols. Generate validation reports and maintain documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a scientific field with 5+ years of relevant experience or equivalent
- Extensive experience with cell culture is required.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask.
- Ability to adhere to corporate policies and procedures.
- Process validation and tech transfer experience is preferred.
