Sr. Project Manager or Project Manager, Outreach

Fusco Personnel is actively recruiting for a Sr. Project Manager or Project Manager, Outreach, to join our client in leading the nation in the fight on global climate change and the transition to a clean-energy powered economy.

This is a FT Direct Hire position offering a competitive salary and benefits package.

Primary Responsibilities

Actively manage a broad range of projects led by outside contractors with a focus on statewide and local stakeholder outreach around ESBs
Participate in stakeholder discussions and speak at conferences with school districts, school bus fleets, the school bus industry, and other stakeholders regarding NYSERDA's ESB efforts
Cultivate and maintain strategic relationships with ESB market stakeholders including industry participants, local community-based groups, and school districts
Actively manage projects with engineering firms developing individualized fleet electrification plans for school bus fleets, as needed
Identify and pursue opportunities for program improvement, including ways NYSERDA can better address equity in transportation
Ability to perform all managerial and supervisory responsibilities with demonstrated experience fostering respect, diversity, equity and inclusion across the workforce.

Minimum Qualifications

Senior Project Manager- Minimum experience of Bachelor's degree and 7 years of relevant experience
Project Manager- Minimum experience of Bachelor's degree and 5 years of relevant experience
Demonstrates record of success managing projects, preferably in the clean transportation or clean energy space
Familiarity with transportation electrification subject matter, with a preference for a moderate technical understanding of EVs and/or electric utility operations and a passion for issues related to clean transportation and equity
Demonstrates experience supervising contractors and interacting with senior leadership in one's own organization and in other organizations
Demonstrated ability to independently and simultaneously manage a broad portfolio of projects, including setting workplans, managing budgets, and overseeing internal and consultant work products

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with a broad spectrum of both public and private sector stakeholders
Proficiency with MS Office Suite required; familiarity with Salesforce preferred
Project Manager: Preferred: Master's/ Advanced degree and 6 years of relevant experience
Project Manager: Preferred: Master's/ Advanced degree and 4 years of relevant experience

Salary

$76- $141k
