Natural Resources Project Manager

Are you an experienced Project Manager seeking a challenging opportunity with a firm committed to our employees and providing excellence? S&ME is looking for an eager and dedicated full-time Natural Resources Project Manager to join our Environmental team in Knoxville, Tennessee.
About the Role:
As a Natural Resources Project Manager, you'll oversee various projects, including proposal preparation, client relations, and coordination with regulatory agencies. Your responsibilities include evaluating jurisdictional waters, obtaining permits, and conducting surveys for protected species. You'll ensure safety, quality, and financial goals are achieved while optimizing project profitability through effective staffing. Furthermore, you'll act as a Community Leader to boost visibility and collaborate with other departments to identify opportunities and provide essential resources for project success.
About You:
* You have a Bachelor's degree in Biological or Environmental Sciences from an accredited college or university
* You have 12+ years of experience with wetland delineations, stream determinations, Stream Quantification Tool (SQT), environmental permitting, mitigation, protected species surveys, and ecological surveys, and previous experience in the southeast U.S.
* You have PE, QHP, and/or CNRP accreditation, a plus
* You have GIS experience and/or knowledge
* You have the ability and desire to train and mentor staff
* You have experience interacting with regulatory agencies/representative
* You have excellent oral and written communication skills
