Job Description
AECOM is seeking a Safety, Health & Environment Specialist II for our Mechanicsburg, PA or Pittsburgh, PA offices.
The responsibilities of this position may include, but are not limited to:
Conducting site visits in vary weather conditions and environments to document site conditions, equipment, and structures.
Preparation of written reports such as: environmental compliance reports, health, and safety determinations, EHS audit reports and environmental permit packages reporting in accordance with federal, state, local and client requirements.
Developing and conducting qualitative and quantitative risk and exposure assessments.
Advising clients on implementing and interpreting regulations as they apply to operations. Conducting research and engaging other subject matter experts as needed.
Corresponding with clients, subcontractors, and applicable regulatory agencies.
Office tasks may include reviewing and interpreting data, preparing reports and work plans, and developing and implementing remedial strategies.
