Teach Construction Management (BLD) courses at the Alexandria campus of Northern Virginia Community College (NOVA):

Interested applicants must have a degree in Construction Management, or related engineering discipline.

Adjunct faculty are employed to teach up to 12 credit hours in the fall and spring semester and/or up to 8 credit hours during summer session. Teaching load is based upon student enrollment and staffing needs. Instruction may be during the day, evening, or weekend.

Minimum Qualifications:

* Adept knowledge of instructional technologies.
* Excellent interpersonal and oral/written communication skills.
* Ability to work with a diverse student population.

A Construction Management, or related engineering discipline. The minimum qualifications for adjunct faculty are based on the policies of the Virginia Community College System and NOVA, which are aligned with the standards and guidelines of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges.

Preferred Qualifications:

Adept knowledge and experience teaching with a learning management system such as Blackboard. Prior experience at the community college level teaching Architecture.

Practical experience in Site Supervision and Field Operations and/or Construction Project Scheduling.
