The Business Systems Analyst serves as the liaison between the IT Department and business stakeholders responsible for evaluating business processes, identifying areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions to enhance efficiency and productivity. This role will be required to collaborate cross-functionally with other departments to gather and analyze data and recommend improvements to achieve business objectives.

This position is part of the ERP team in Richmond, Virginia, and will be onsite.

In this role, a typical day will look like:
  • Use various root cause analysis methods to deliver objective analysis for resolving system issues and identifying process gaps, inefficiencies, and areas of improvement.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to obtain an understanding of processes and requirement needs.
  • Coordinate meetings with cross-functional departments to create current and future state process maps and KPI metrics from all impacted stakeholders.
  • Document and communicate business requirement changes, enhancements, and modifications - verbally and through written documentation
  • Create and maintain requirements traceability matrices, as well as functional design documentation.
  • Create, maintain, and perform Quality Assurance Testing
  • Utilize the SDLC methodology to deliver technical solutions.
  • Research, investigate, and document transaction flow both inside and outside a system using various tools.
  • Collaborate with external third-party vendors, contractors, and consultants to develop and enhance the system.
  • Regularly monitor processes and seek opportunities for continuous optimization of processes.
  • Stay abreast of industry best practices, new technologies, and new releases impacting business processes

The essential requirements of the job include:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field required
  • 3 Years Business Requirements gathering experience
  • 3 years Quality Assurance or System Testing experience
  • 3 Years Business Process mapping experience
  • 3+ years of experience in supporting business functions in report to record and logistics in Microsoft D365, preferably

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
  • Business process analysis and improvement
  • Finance or financial background
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate's position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.

The compensation range for this role is $105,000 - $120,000 USD per year. This job is also eligible for Bonus Pay.

We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.
