The EHS Professional will play a crucial role in driving EHS goals and objectives, conducting inspections, and embedding a culture of safety throughout our plant.

Key Responsibilities:
- Compliance and Reporting:
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal EHS regulations.
- Prepare and submit accurate compliance reports to regulatory agencies.
- Maintain and update EHS documentation, including policies, procedures, and records.
- Safety Programs and Training:
- Develop, implement, and maintain EHS programs and initiatives.
- Conduct regular safety training sessions for employees and contractors.
- Promote awareness and understanding of safety policies and procedures.
- Inspections and Hazard Identification:
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify hazards, violations, and potential risks.
- Develop and implement corrective actions to address identified hazards.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses to determine root causes and prevent recurrence.
- Driving EHS Culture:
- Lead by example to instill a culture of safety and environmental responsibility.
- Engage employees at all levels to promote safe work practices and behaviors.
- Collaborate with management to integrate EHS considerations into business decisions and processes.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Monitor EHS performance metrics and trends to identify areas for improvement.
- Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance EHS performance.
- Participate in EHS committees and initiatives to share knowledge and drive improvements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in an EHS role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Professional certifications such as CSP (Certified Safety Professional), CIH (Certified Industrial Hygienist), or equivalent.
- In-depth knowledge of EHS regulations and standards (OSHA, EPA, etc.).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in EHS management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
