Job Description
AECOM is seeking an Environmental Scientist II to be based in our Arlington, VA office. This position will support our team within the regions business line. This position is expected to begin immediately. This position would support environmental management and regulatory compliance programs for Federal clients.
The ideal candidate will be detail oriented, possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, have the ability to work independently, and be capable of working collaboratively as a member of a team.
We are particularly interested in candidates who have strong training or experience with per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances regulations, the Safe Drinking Water Act, Clean Water Act, Resource Conservation and Recovery Act, and other bedrock environmental laws. Experience overseeing, contributing to, or implementing key components of headquarters-level environmental compliance programs for federal departments, other offices within the Executive Branch, or Congress is especially useful.
