Job Description

Yamaha has an excellent opportunity for a Marine Supply Chain Analystto join our Marine team in Kennesaw, GA. The Marine Supply Chain Analyst is responsible for day-to-day functions of Supply Chain including Inventory Management, Master Data, and Demand Planning. Responsibilities include but not limited to providing strong support in wholesale forecasting, inventory planning and master data maintenance. Provide strong analysis support regarding wholesale achievement, inventory levels and production adjustments.

What you'll be doing:

  • Communicate Supply Chain Related Activities from vendor/factory to OEM/Dealer Network. Can include, but not limited to: Inventory Allocation, manage factory production submissions, aiding Master Data Clean up and communication to management of any potential problem areas regarding the quantity or flow of product from factory to the OEM/Dealer Network.
  • Create, analyze, and manage functions related to KPI reporting to relay results and plan for future wholesale/production. Communicate regularly with Sales, Marketing and Operations to collaborate on any necessary countermeasures in the supply chain.
  • Foster relationships with Yamaha Motor Company and Yamaha Motor Engine Company. Communicate on purchase orders, overdue orders, MOQs, lead times, and align on production schedules/long-term demand.
  • Work closely with the Sales/Marketing/Service teams to support their objectives as they pertain to the overall Supply Chain. Communicate any pertinent details to other departments and teams to ensure any program/event deadlines are met.
  • Coordinate with Procurement and the Master Data Stewards to ensure new and existing part information and pricing are set up accurately.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
What you need to be successful:
  • Bachelors degree required.
  • 5+ years business experience in an analytical capacity.
  • Must have knowledge of SAP ECC and APO and advanced knowledge of Excel.
  • Excellent written/verbal communications skills.
