Currently seeking a EHS/Environmental Health & Safety Specialist for a premier leader in the Medical Device industry!
This is an onsite position in the greater Minneapolis region - NOT a remote opportunity.
As an Environmental Health and Safety Specialist you will support the plant by leading environmental compliance, occupational safety, and health (EHS), and conveying/maintaining a security strategy by doing the following:
Should have Broad knowledge of current Safety, Health, and Environmental issues - risk management, regulatory and internal compliance.
Experience supporting GxP manufacturing environments, including training and SOP development is a plus.

As an Environmental Health and Safety Specialist you will support the plant by leading environmental compliance, occupational safety, and health (EHS), and conveying/maintaining a security strategy by doing the following:
- Provide technical assistance on EHS compliance and EHS projects on a range of areas such as Machine Guarding, Equipment Safety, Lock Out Tag Out, Hazardous Materials, Emergency Preparedness and Response, EHS auditing, and more
- Implement programs and procedures to address existing and emerging EHS and security issues related to provincial, state, and local and corporate requirements
- Implement and maintain an incident investigation methodology, identifying root causes
- Interpret and provide guidance on policies like OSH and EPA to verify we are in compliance
- Support site leadership and employees to achieve 0 health and safety incidents for the calendar year
- Monitor site EHS metrics and address undesirable trends
