Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Research Associate to join our research team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in cell culture, flow cytometry, NGS, and single-cell assays. This role involves designing and conducting experiments, analyzing data, and contributing to the development of novel therapeutic engineering and discovery approaches.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cell Culture: Maintain and manipulate a variety of mammalian cell lines, ensuring optimal growth conditions and experimental consistency.
  • Flow Cytometry: Design, execute, and analyze flow cytometry experiments to assess cell phenotype, function, and viability.
  • Assay Development: Develop and optimize functional and analytical assays, including but not limited to ELISA, PCR, immunofluorescence, and immunocytochemistry.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze and interpret experimental data, prepare detailed reports, and present findings to the research team and senior management.
  • Experimental Design: Collaborate with team members to design and implement experiments aligned with project goals and timelines.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed laboratory records in Benchling in accordance with company policies.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including computational biologists, engineers, business development, and project managers, to drive research projects forward.
  • Innovation: Stay current with the latest scientific literature and technological advancements to bring innovative ideas and techniques to the team.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelors or Master's degree in Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, or a related field.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of relevant laboratory experience, preferably in an industry setting.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in aseptic and cell culture techniques, including primary and immortalized cell lines.
  • Extensive experience with flow cytometry, including experimental design and data analysis.
  • Experienced in performing and optimizing cell-based assay to ensure consistent assay outputs
  • Strong background in common molecular and cellular assays (e.g., ELISA, PCR, Western blotting).
  • Familiarity with data analysis software and tools (e.g., FlowJo, GraphPad Prism).
  • Soft Skills:
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
