Job Description: Biologist

Location: New York, NY 10016

Duration: 12+ Months (Extendable)

Description:

Responsibilities include:

• Perform protein purification using AKTA FPLC system

• Make buffers in use with protein purification

• Record and document experiments, analyze data and offer conclusions obtained from sample testing.

• Assist in lab managing tasks like ordering, labeling, and inventory tracking.

Qualifications

BS in biology or related field - General lab experience ( pipetting and buffer making ) - AAV experience (preferred) - Protein purification experience (preferred) - Familiarity with online notebooking software Labguru or Benchling (preferred) We are seeking a Research Associate to join our expanding process development team. The Research Associate will primarily participate in downstream purification of AAV products using AKTA FPLC systems and chromatography (affinity chromatography and ion-exchange chromatography) to support AAV gene therapy programs.
