Amotec is seeking a highly qualified Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Manager to join our client's rapidly growing team. Our client is a global industry leader celebrating over 100 years in business. Reporting to the Plant Director, the EHS Manager will oversee 2 EHS Specialists and is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining comprehensive health and safety programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and promote a safe working environment. EHS Manager Responsibilities:
Develop and implement EHS policies, procedures, and programs in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Conduct regular EHS audits and inspections to identify and mitigate risks.
Lead incident investigations and root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
Provide EHS training and guidance to employees and management.
Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory agencies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health and Safety or a related field
Minimum 8 years of experience as an EHS professional in the manufacturing industry
