System One is seeking an Environmental Field Technician to provide support on various environmental projects in the Permian Basin of New Mexico. This person will be responsible for a wide variety of environmental field activities. Candidate must also have the ability to manage a heavy workload, travel and be on-call as needed.

Responsibilities:

Soil sampling activities.
Groundwater sampling activities.
Completion of detailed field notes, daily reports, forms and checklists.
Health and Safety assessments and audits of project sites and teams.
Quality, Health and Safety oversight of sub contractors.
Other tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

1+yrs experience in oil field, environmental consulting, or other related field experience.
Associate's Degree preferred -OR- equivalent combination of education and field experience .
Basic Computer Skills; must include Microsoft Windows Word and Excel.
Ability to travel for field work primarily in southeastern New Mexico area; some overnight travel may be required.
Must possess a valid driver's license.
