Department: Sales - Environmental Group

Position reports to: Director of Water Safety and Management

Classification: Exempt

RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide technical and administrative support to Director of Water Safety and Management, Vice President Environmental Group, sales/service team and Barclay Water Management's customers.

  • Provide administrative support to all salespeople on EG service offerings (quotes, proposals, job cost estimates, reports)
  • Conduct field surveys for data gathering and develop Legionella Water Management Programs, in accordance with ASHRAE 188 and industry best practices. Interact with customers and salespeople to tailor these Programs to their needs and limitations.
  • Interact with sales/service team as well as with Barclay's customers in the Water Management Plan recurrent meetings.
  • Process Third-Party lab reports for Legionella and other bacteria.
  • Assist customers and sales/service team in Legionella bacteria response and remediation best practices.
  • Participate in the sales process for the Environmental Group's service offerings, including the direct interaction with customers and participation in trade shows and similar events.
  • Obtain Certified Pool Operator (CPO) Certification.
  • Obtain ASSE 12080 Legionella Water Safety and Management Specialist Certification
  • Assist in EG permit processing and maintenance.
  • Check Barclay e-mail and voice mail systems on a daily basis.
  • Adhere to all safety policies and inform management of unsafe working conditions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • The work is generally sedentary. No special demands are required to perform the work other than the ability to operate a keyboard accurately.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time via car, train, or airplane
  • Demonstrated ability to occasionally stand, walk and carefully navigate mechanical rooms and boiler rooms during site surveys
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct occasional hand tasks and to reach above shoulders as well as dexterity to open/close sample cells and open reagent packets while taking chlorine samples.
  • Ability to speak, hear, and see
  • Ability to drive a motor vehicle for extended periods of time
  • Loading and moving of up to 10 pounds
