JOB DESCRIPTION
GeoQuest, Inc., a full service environmental consulting and management firm, is currently seeking
Environmental Scientist/Field Technicians to join our growing team in the Hartford (Bloomfield)
and Shelton, Connecticut areas.
Primary responsibilities will include research, the completion of Phase I and Phase II Environmental
Site Assessments, field activities related to the investigation and remediation of soil and
groundwater, and the preparation of reports and other project related documents.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Minimum requirements for this position include a Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited
college or university in fields of environmental science, geology, hydrogeology, or other related
fields. One year (or more) of experience working in the environmental consulting/management
industry preferred. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required for this position.
Completion of a 40 hour OSHA HAZWOPER training program and a strong knowledge base
regarding the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection Remediation
Standard Regulations (RSRs) and the Connecticut Property Transfer Act would be considered a plus.
