Job Description
AECOM is actively seeking a talented and experienced Project Manager to lead federal environmental investigation and remediation projects. This candidate will be based out of the Latham, NY office, however; can work remotely.
Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, those listed below:
Familiar with project invoicing and cash flow management
Supervise and manage a small team of 3-8 professional staff engaged in complex environmental projects
Familiar and practiced in developing complex, detailed cost estimates, subcontractor bid packages, and supporting technical proposal development
Prioritize and enforce adherence to ethical and safety standards
Leads teams using sound financial management along with advanced scientific principles, theories, and practices
Manage and interpret various types of environmental data, conduct analyses, compare findings to relevant studies and local, state, and federal regulations to ensure compliance
Analyze financial statements and complete budget tracking
Perform work with minimal direction with periodic reporting to area manager
Oversee the preparation of work plans and organize project studies
Perform complex assignments often requiring the development of unique solutions to problems with the support of the project team
Supervise junior and mid-level staff during all phases of project work
Conduct reviews and provides staff feedback for continued improvement
