We're looking for an entry-level Associate Biologist to manufacture biological materials and standards. You'll work under guidance to support production of biological cultures and derivative products, as well as contribute to data collection and recording.
Responsibilities
- Manufacturing Operations: Manufacturing or quality control (QC) testing of biological products by following standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and other controlled documents. Maintain laboratory safety, operations, equipment, and supplies.
- Documentation: Maintain production batch records in compliance with good laboratory practices. Collect, analyze, and report data, ensuring meticulous documentation.
- Continuous Learning and Problem-Solving: Master aseptic technique, gain experience with various cell lines and organisms, and tackle routine challenges in alignment with organizational policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a scientific field with 0-2 years of relevant experience or equivalent
- Hands on laboratory experience and aseptic technique preferred
- Attention to detail
- Ability to adhere to corporate policies and procedures
- Prior exposure to microbiology (bacteriology, mycology, protistology), molecular biology, cell biology, or virology preferred
