Job overview:

Schneider is seeking a Senior Environmental Administrator in Green Bay, WI to ensure the organization adheres to all laws and regulations in place to protect the environment. Expertise in environmental, health, safety, and security regulatory compliance including DOT and EPA regulations. Manage federal and state level permitting requirements applicable to Hazardous and Non-Hazardous waste. Manage Hazardous Materials compliance for operations and maintain CSA Compliance. Must be able to manage hauling policies to include Product Favorite creation. Provides support and assistance in the management of commodity related incidents.

Responsibilities:
  • Represents all environmental affairs to include federal, state, and local regulatory compliance.
  • Develop company programs for effective Hazardous Materials regulatory compliance.
  • Analyze safety related data to identify trends, locate discrepancies, and define areas of opportunity.
  • Maintain stream of data analysis for leadership focused on Environmental related incidents.
Skills and qualifications:
  • Bachelor degree in Chemistry, Physical Science, or related field; or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience with DOT/EPA and various regulations preferred.
  • Experience with chemical/oil spill cleanup activity preferred.
