Biology Laboratory Manager

Overview
A full-time Biology laboratory manager position is open in the Department of Biology at the Touro University Lander College for Men in Queens NY. This opportunity combines laboratory management and bench research (in the laboratory of Dr. Yakov Peter) with undergraduate student laboratory set-up and instruction. Our laboratory is interested in molecular and cellular patterns of stem cell differentiation and tissue regeneration in disease and lung cancer.
Responsibilities

• Laboratory management
• Bench research
• Undergraduate student laboratory set-up (1 laboratory)
• Undergraduate student laboratory instruction (1 laboratory)

Qualifications Education/ Experience

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Preferably graduate degree and above (3+ years) experience in tissue culture, genetic, biochemical, and/or immunological techniques. Preference will be given to individuals with (3+ years) experience in tissue culture, genetic, biochemical, and/or immunological techniques.
