The Environmental Regulatory and Compliance Team is looking for subject matter experts in multi-media compliance programs for our retail stores, transportation fleet, manufacturing facilities, petroleum, and warehouse distribution centers. There are multiple positions, and we are looking for a variety of Partners with expertise in environmental regulatory and compliance to help us build a world-class compliance program and environmental management system. We are looking for subject matter experts in regulations, permitting and programmatic compliance under the Clean Air Act, the Clean Water Act, RCRA, TSCA, EPCRA, PSM/RMP, DOT hazardous materials requirements, the Safe Drinking Water Act, Spill Prevention, petroleum management and refrigerant management and compliance with section 608 of the Clean Air Act.

Essential Functions / Process Responsibilities include the following: other duties may be assigned as necessary

- Assist business units in understanding environmental requirements (compliance counseling and capacity building);

- Perform multi-media environmental compliance audits, gap assessments, inspections, and program reviews.

- Develop and support implementation and management of programmatic requirements, including creating SOPs and trainings

- Prepare technical documents or regulatory analysis on specific environmental regulatory issues; including reports, plans, programs, permit applications, and other written deliverables.

- Conduct field support at client sites including routine site inspections, consultant oversight and on-call support.

- Perform other duties as requested.

Education and Experience preferred

- Bachelor's degree in Environmental, Public Policy, Engineering or Science. Masters degree or J.D. preferred.

- 5+ years of experience working with environmental compliance programs, environmental regulations, and environmental permitting.

- Willingness and ability to identify new opportunities, drive improvement, streamline processes and further sustainability goals is strongly desired.

- Experience in or working with governmental regulatory agencies such as TCEQ and EPA

- Must have all certifications necessary for the performance of the job.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical, multitasking, and judgment capabilities.

- Ability to effectively work independently and in a team environment.
