Job Description
AECOM has an exciting opportunity for an Environmental Scientist II to join our Remediation team in Pittsburgh, PA. You will work with a diverse team of technical leaders across a broad range of practice areas delivering remediation consulting services in support of Brownfield redevelopment.
AECOM's Remediation, Restoration and Redevelopment Practice delivers innovative and often complex solutions to meet our clients' objectives. Because we address many different impacted sites - from munitions to PFAS to algae blooms and beyond - every project in our global practice is different.
Job responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Performs standard scientific work requiring application of techniques and procedures.
Detects problems when using standardized procedures because of the condition of sample, difficulties with the equipment, etc.
Conducts specific phases of projects for more experienced scientists.
Interprets and records data, conducts analyses, compares findings to relevant studies and local, state and federal regulations to ensure compliance.
Works under general supervision.
