Job Description
AECOM is seeking a mid-level Biologist II to join our group of natural resource professionals and support some of the Pacific Northwest's most exciting and important projects. The position will be based out of our Seattle, Washington office.
The work will involve a combination of office and fieldwork. This position would offer work on a variety of projects and clients, with a focus on field assessments and surveys, reporting, and permit application preparation. The position will include abundant opportunities for professional growth and career development.
A successful candidate works well with others. The candidate will conduct fieldwork and prepare technical reports while interacting with coworkers, clients, and regulatory agency staff.
Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
Collecting and analyzing biological data to determine natural resource impacts.
Conducting wetland delineation/wildlife/special status species surveys, reporting, and permitting.
Monitoring of construction activities for compliance with environmental requirements and/or permits.
Preparation of reports documenting survey/monitoring data.
Writing technical documents and permit applications.
