Job Overview:
APTIM Environmental & Infrastructure, LLC is seeking a junior level Environmental Scientist on a full-time basis in one of our offices (Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania or Lenexa, Kansas) to participate in a variety of environmental compliance support tasks, related to hazardous waste, hazardous materials, stormwater, aboveground storage tanks, and spill prevention. The successful candidate will be experienced in supporting an environmental team with an opportunity to grow. This position will primarily be in an office environment but may also require travel to client facilities to conduct environmental compliance reviews and/or gather related data.

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
- Executing various work scopes, while meeting project schedules and budgets
- Work independently and as part of a project team and be able to adjust to changing conditions
- Work as a team member to assist in preparation of regulatory reports and permit applications
- Interface with client personnel at a corporate and facility level
- Time management to ensure a quality product is prepared to meet project deadlines
- Applies knowledge and skills to a wide range of standard and non-standard situations
- Opportunity to assist in management of tasks
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a core science (such as geology, chemistry, physics, or biology), engineering, environmental science, or related area required.
- Related work experience of 2 -- 4 years.
- Must have strong written and oral communication skills.
- Strong computer skills required. Must have experience with Microsoft applications and Adobe products, and ability to learn other software applications.
