RK&K is hiring an Environmental Scientist to join our growing team in Pittsburgh, PA. As an RK&K Environmental Scientist, you will be actively involved in a diversity of wetland and forest delineation, permitting, habitat improvement, ecological restoration, and other environmental projects.

Basic Responsibilities
- Conduct wetland delineations, forest assessments and other natural resource inventories
- Provide technical support and expertise to project managers and client account managers serving our energy, municipal, and transportation client base
- Prepare documents and environmental permits
- Interact with clients and regulatory agencies
- Collaborate with other environmental professionals
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or equivalent
- Undergraduate curriculum that emphasized ecology, botany, and other natural resources disciplines
- Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience
- Wetland Delineation Training
- Threatened and Endangered Species surveys
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Motivated to find creative solutions to environmental problems
- Excited to work outdoors in all seasons
- Professional Wetland Scientist (PWS)
- Certified Ecologist or Certified Wildlife Biologist
- ArcGIS
- SafeLandUSA Trained
- Valid driver license and favorable driving record
- Ability to work in the field and participate in overnight travel
