Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Ensure that all employees, contractors, visitors, etc. experience high levels of safety, health, and environmental protection.
- Manage monitoring and reporting for environmental regulations and support site environmental programs:
- SARA Title III Hazardous Chemical Inventory
- Chemical Bulk Storage & Spill Prevention & Response.
- Petroleum Storage & SPCC Plan.
- Title V air permit compliance.
- Toxic Release Inventory (TRI).
- Assist in compliance of employee health policies including injury management, accident investigations to determine root cause of incidents, and application of corrective action plans.
- Assist with promoting & driving the corporate safety program, "All in for Safety" to build the site vision of a Zero incident culture, including but not limited to conducting employee safety observations, and other employee engagement activities on the shop floor.
- Participate on capital and other project teams to identify and resolve regulatory issues, analyze process and property hazards, and establish protective measures to mitigate risks to a tolerable level.
- Assist plant with government interfaces and inspections.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Management or related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in environmental consulting, industrial environmental compliance, environmental program management, and/or wastewater treatment systems.
