Job Details

As a Soil Scientist, you and your teammates of engineers and scientists will complete soil evaluations, design onsite sewage disposal systems, and inspections for a wide range of project types and clients. You will maintain solid relationships with a diverse client base.

As a Soil Scientist, you will:

Conduct site and soil evaluations for new development
Design onsite sewage disposal systems for residential, commercial, and municipal usage
Work with in-house design engineers on secondary and tertiary treatment and dispersal systems
Conduct inspections of system installation
Prepare technical reports, drawings, and design documents
Conduct various natural resource studies, including perennial stream assessments, wetland delineations, and RPA determinations

POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Position Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree: Engineering, Geology, Soil Science, or Environmental Science preferred
AOSE (Alternative Onsite Soil Evaluator) License preferred
Minimum of 5 years practical experience in aspects of soil science and system design preferred
Advanced technical writing skills
Good organizational skills
Great attitude and a desire to grow professionally
