Responsibilities:
The Environmental Planner will perform the responsibilities generally described below, as well as any additional duties as needed to support the
overall objectives of the company:
- Ensure client satisfaction as the primary author of various environmental documents
- Support project success by coordinating components including scope, schedule, and budget
- Assist with the growth of colleagues by reviewing and responding with meaningful edits to documents
- Maintain team excellence by exhibiting creativity, suggesting innovative ideas, and providing thoughtful feedback on processes and work experience
- Engage in cross-functional collaboration with colleagues to create a cohesive workflow for projects
- Complete or contribute to any other responsibilities as assigned
- Uphold EPD core values in everyday interactions with internal and external partners
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in related studies and/or 2+ years of related work experience
- Proven ability to write clear and concise CEQA and NEPA documents in compliance with regulations
- Passion for gaining knowledge and experience
- Critical thinking skills and ability to make creative solution-oriented recommendations
- Interpersonal skills with emphasis on emotional intelligence and effective communication
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office products with emphasis on Outlook and Word
- Intermediate Adobe Acrobat skills
- Ability to adapt to change and effectively prioritize teams for highest-value outcomes
