Environmental Consulting Services, Inc., a small environmental consulting company based in Middletown, DE, is actively seeking to fill an opening for a fisheries technician position. Primary responsibilities under this position involve the collection of larval and juvenile fish samples in the field and/or at a power generating facility in New Jersey. Additional responsibilities may include working in a laboratory setting, processing related aquatic samples. Candidates for the position must be able to successfully pass a company drug screen and obtain unescorted access authorization from the power generating facility. Applicants will need to provide their own transportation, be able to perform shift work 3-4 days per week, and be available to work weekends and holidays. A Bachelor of Science in a complementary field and fisheries experience is preferred, but not required.
