PURPOSE STATEMENT
Seeking a college student for an internship pursuing a degree in a STEM-related field.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/OUTCOMES
Area of Focus
WHQ Microbiological Laboratory and documentation support
Food Safety and microbiology special project support, technical research, etc.
Key Competencies
Biology/Food Science, Biochemistry, and STEM based education and achievement
Biology laboratory testing practice and experience required
Proficient in using Microsoft Office software suit including Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Teams, Power Apps
Technical research for device development and project task assignments
Proficient in oral and written communications including with technical subjects and graphical charts. Demonstrate good organizational skills.
Learning Objective
Enhance oral and written communications, develop good working ethnic and professionalism
Develop knowledge and understanding of quality and standards as applied to food safety and microbiology
Become familiar and understand corporate goals and objectives related to food safety and microbiology
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
Must be pursuing a college degree in a STEM-related field
Must have microbiologyexperience
Must have lab study experience
