You'll receive all the training you need to successfully take on your new role and grow an exciting laboratory sciences career at Pace®. This position will actively support food safety and quality assurance through the use, and validation of, pathogen detection products. The analyst will prepare and evaluate samples using aseptic technique to ensure products meet specifications. The products being monitored are crucial to maintaining consumer safe food supply chains. Work is performed as part of a team in a collaborative environment. Position may require occassional weekend shifts.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
What you'll doConduct Analysis of products using traditional microbiological techniques such as dilution, pour plating, and filtrationPerform a wide range of general molecular/microbiology related test methods such as sterility testing, plate counting, and pathogen identificationPrepare sterile lab media used to conduct testingParticipate in general laboratory cleaning and maintenance in support of a safe workspace
QUALIFICATIONS:
